I cant seem to install any of the Python packages on my Ubuntu. What can i do?

I have 2 versions of Python. Maybe that's the problem. But i've tried sudo apt-get and it didnt work. I tried installing pip. That didnt work either.

sudo apt-get WHAT? that's incomplete description. Please tell me what exactly you are trying to install. What packages? What commands you tried ? The exact command not just sudo apt-get and How it failed along with error messages. Please mention your version of Ubuntu too!
